That time again for one of my in depth trip reports. National geographic have been asking me to do one for them but told them they would have to pay the subscription fee and read all about it on here plus i heard the bloke that runs the forum needs the money.
Anyway expect my usual route sharing in depth graphs and charts of mpg, food stops, loo stops and pictures of drinks prob lots of them.
And after reading about the daily cost to go for a ride on the bike our lass has packed sandwiches for a week and a big flask so i should have 150 Euro per day for Rose & Vodka plus a fiver for fuel.
Undecided if im going to ride over to the coast this morning to either Scarborough or Brid and follow the coast down to Hull. Weather is not looking good just for a change.

I'm following with interest but just wanted to clarify, I assume you mean "a swell" as in a sophisticated, stylish sort of a chap? Just that the "a" tagged along with him.

I'd go by the coast, sea breeze will keep you cool.

What flooding? It was all gone as if nothing was there in the first place within two days of it happening. The water was still high and they local fire crews were out in force working with the nature (high water) to aid a cleanup.
