Are you heading FROM the Hook of Holland or TO the Hook?
The signs are pretty easy to find once you get off the ferry but beware around Rotterdam. Roads get kind of jumbled especially the motorways A20 - A4 - A15 . Roads from Hook to A20 towards Rotterdam are A roads (N in NL) N223 and N213. Arriving at 0800 you should be OK.

Clear, then my advice is the same as for Doc. Don't go anywhere near the A12, especially from The Hague or Rotterdam. Its closed & they expect the worse traffic jams EVER in NL because of this fiasco. So if you´re heading towards Denmark go north on the A4 towards Amsterdam if possible and then cut across east on the A1 and A6
