Weather is worse today than yesterday. Nothing like riding around the Black Forest hairpins in the pissing rain and hill cloud.

Just make sure you carry an industrial hairdryer with you.

Strangely enough, I’ve not got wet yet ! But it is 30c + today in the Italian lakes.
I’ve come away with a Rukka force air jacket and a Richa rain proof thing. It persisted down one day last week in Romania, and I was bone dry. Result

Trip out to Titisee today rain or shine.
Currently rain but the gear is dry.

Some nice riding today making the most of the weather. Been on a bit of a downer today. Thinking about my Dad and Been ripped off off hasn't helped. The holidays continue and up to Cochem tomorrow.

Pork medallions, Spatzle and Chanterelle mushrooms. Was delicious.

Definitely not chips Simon. It's Spatzle.
And yes you can still get crinkle cut chips. My Mam never had a cutter though.

Well another wet morning here. Next stop Cochem roughly 190 miles.
I don't mind a bit of rain but maybe we are visiting Germany a bit late in the year. Although it hasn't been to cold just a bit in the morning.
Let's see what Cochem brings. A bit more to do there if we don't go out on the bike.

I’ve been to the Black Forest and done the Alpenstrasser in October Doc and had a great if chilly time so September is not too late in the year.

Just bad luck with the weather. Which happens.
