I’ve been to the Black Forest and done the Alpenstrasser in October Doc and had a great if chilly time so September is not too late in the year.

Just bad luck with the weather. Which happens.

And arrived at our friends hotel and a couple of cold ones waiting. Our base for the next three nights and there is a little festival going on. I can feel a Rose or few in order.
