Doc the Boss and the Indian does France part one.

Bike will be up for sale on my return. It's very dirty and damaged so the boss says we need a new one for France part 2.

That’s what I call a decent + encouraging boss……keeper.

From P&O after my last complaint after unloading last.

Dear Chris,

Thank you for your email,
I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your recent experience travelling with us, it is our aim to provide all of our customers with the best possible services and travel for their journey and I am sorry that we fell short of this aim in this instance.

I have checked with the Port Duty Manager who was in charge on your sailing date and I can confirm that we had a very large amount of bicycles and motorcycles booked on to your crossing. Due to the nature of the loading process we assess the type and amount of vehicles booked on to each crossing and we establish a plan to load all vehicles on as safely and efficiently as possible. In this instance, due to the location of where the motorcycles were parked, they had to ensure the cars were loaded off the ship first.

I can appreciate that it must have been frustrating being held up while these vehicles were unloaded but I can assure you that it was a necessity in order to for this to be completed safely.

As a gesture of goodwill for the delay you experienced, I would be happy to offer a £30.00 credit voucher to be used towards a future crossing with us. To redeem this offer you can book your crossing on our website and call us to add on your extras. Alternatively, you can book directly with our call centre. When you are ready to book, please phone our call centre
