She also helped hold it up when I dropped it setting off this morning. Luckily some small scratches on bottom of headers and that was all. Could have been a lot worse.My fault because I'm an idiot.

oh no no no there was stuff there alright... which they mostly blew up....! my old neighbour was a railway engineer and he said there was all manner of stuff.... the local village doctor was a stalingrad survivour.... all I remember of him was when he stappled my head back together... and I shit you not he was properly scary...!

Main task today is set off without dropping the bike. Should be ok though as the lock is in a flat boring field somewhere. 
Today we will be having a ride out mainly on flat straight roads with nothing to see and will probably be eating non German food.
Good thing is weather is looking good so we will try and have a nice day.
