Dodgey Digital Readout
My 1200gs digital read out either starts to go intermittantly streaky or goes awol completely. When this happens it flashes like a bar code until comes back but again all streaks. The problem is getting it to the dealer when its faulty.
Any ideas what could be the cause?

sounds like some sort of dodgy connection somewhere? does it only do this after being washed or rained on, does it only do it after full lock to the left or right?? try taking some digital pics for evidence for when visiting the dealer.................

My instrument panel started playing up as in the speedo and rev counter were "Sticky" in their action and the gear indicator gave up the ghost completely. Took it to CW for it's 6k service and they replaced the whole panel as well as the gear indicator switch. Problem solved. They reckoned that this wasn't the first time they'd seen this...

Thanks for the ideas. Sunlight seems the main factor. Have taken pictures as suggested, good idea.
