Not a GS, but my winter hack started running extremely roughly last night, under about half throttle it seems to cut onto one cylinder intermittently. I changed the plugs just incase it made a difference, but just the same.
Could it be a problem with the Throttle Position Sensor?
Any helpful suggestions will be appreciated. The bike is a 96 model R1100RT and it runs fine above half throttle opening, but cuts in and out below that (and sounds like a bucket of spanners on tickover).
Won't have much internet access now until Saturday night, so please forgive my rudeness if I don't respond to messages promptly.
All the best,
Keith.
