I'm still going down the Bivvy bag route for the scoots trip...I'm bloody glad I didn't do it for Land's End though

Waking up on the top of a large sand dune with nothing above me in the middle of the desert was awesome.......once we got below Morocco tents were pointless

I've got a Highlander, good tent but I wish I got a McKinley.
Take some time to practice putting it up and taking it down before you go away and you'll be ok.
