looks about right to me

most are around the 10-12k mark depending on extras

think he is charging extra for all the parts, so for a fully kitted bike could still be 10.5 - 11k

Here is one near Stansted that has half the mileage on it. Work out the exchange and VRT.

1150 = supply limited - demand constant
1200 = supply less limited - demand constant
Supply / demand = cost

My 800 G/S is really holding it's value but my 1200 is clocking up the miles.

all this rationality misses the point - bikes are an emotional rather than a rational "thing".
