Eh what can I say.
Went to loads of petrol stations looking for 20W50 mineral oil and couldn't find it any where so I thought , feck any oil is better than none,
Picked some 15W40 mineral oil from the shelf in a petrol station but it was empty so I had to give the empty container to yerman behind the counter and he handed me a full one, I paid went to me bike which was now screaming for oil and I poured it in , just as I had put enough in I noticed the diesel on the label, the fecker had given me the wrong oil from behind the counter, and I had used it in the bike,
So the question is will it do any harm using this Diesel motor oil till i get the right stuff?

no, prob not, new diesel oil has no detergent in so should be ok, u can mix semi with normal oil if you cant find any too

No Probs.
I use Comma 20/50 diesel oil in my airheads if I can't find Castrol 20/50 or Silkolene 20/50.
never had a problem in over 40 years :thumb2

Ah thats good to hear, but here in Holland its a bitch to find 20w50 mineral oil in any of the road side petrol stations.
On line, Motozoom, I found a big 5 liter can of the right stuff from Castrol I'll have to get that .

I used diesel 10W-40 tractor oil in my Honda CB72 many moons ago without any ill effect, and only knackered the engine when I decided to treat it to Duckham's Q. (see Proff :D)
