Yeah, I usually blame my wife too when things go missing She has a mysterious ability to find things that are absolutely definitely not there when I look...

Try calling Garmin - as you're the registered user of the maps, you can probably persuade them to send the code again to your address. Might be useful if you can track down the payment details to back up your story.

Ah, there's the slight stumbling block

I bought the unit from this site and the my Garmon details were on the piece of paper that was thrown away

If the person you bought it off had registered it, I'm sure they'd contact Garmin & ask the to re-send them the code..............
