I've been keeping an eye on this site for a while, but it got serious on Saturday. I have sold my GSX 1400 and put down a deposit on a new Black Adventure with all the toys. Will I regret this?

I also have a Black adventure, the fastest colour (so im told). I assume you have made an informed decision by test riding one first. If you have bought one then like me you must have been impressed. If you compare it to your GSX1400 they will be like chalk & cheese. I went from a BMW K1100RS which was creamy smooth to my GS and I love it. The most impressive thing is the majorly impressive handling and stability. In short I think you will love it and if you dont there will be plenty who will take it off your hands.

Doubt it, the GS is a larf a minute 24/7 365 days, rain or shine

Nope, you'll not regret it.

Prior to the GS I had to have two bikes, an Aprilia Mille and a Honda Valkyrie.

Now I have only the one GS Adv.

Ride safe (fast but safe)

Thanks for all your replies. Ihave ridden an 1150 GS but not an Adventure, Yes it was chalk'n' cheese with the 1400, I would like the GS with the grunt and torque of the 1400!!! I think that if I live with the Adv. for a while it will "grow" on me.
