Hi, computer numpty here

i want to install a dos based programme on my pc (windows xp )
how do i get the pc to run in DOS , i was told start - programmes-accessories .... but it can find it there



any help much appreciated mike

You can open a Dos window by going to Start, All Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt.

If you can't find it there, go to Start, Run, and type in "cmd" and run it.
