I enjoy coming on this site, the craic's good. I've been wanting a GS for a few years now, sure I've craved for others, but the GS has been my longest yearned for bike, at one stage it was a varadero. I like the look of the new Tiger; its kind of ugly, British but, for the price of a new one I could buy a decent used GS.
I keep dreaming of my GS, it's my ultimate, I'm not wrapped on the 12 though, I can't work out why yet, cost? Being voted as best bike by sports bike mags? Or is it because if I got one and it went wrong (slim chance I know) my dreams would be shattered
and the dream would be over.
Whatever I get, it will never be my ultimate bike I will always want that bike that is reliable, handles superbly, doesn't melt in winter, and doesn't fall to bits when dropped on its side. When I'm hooked on the 12 it will be time to park up the Divvy and get an 1150, so when it breaks, corrodes, and misbehaves I'll still have that dream, that someday I will have a GS12. That's biking for me.
