I wish to do some work on the beak..

Firstly i want to fit an Auxillery socket to the left of the console as per the adventure..

Secondly i wish to fit a beak extender..

To do these, i need to drill the beak.. i plan to put some maskin tape and use a 1mm bit to drill pilot holes then expand them to the required size..

Are there any pitfalls or problems i should be aware off before i start to drill the beast beak.. rather ask and be told than do and pay for it one way or the other..

PS also where is the cheapest place for a beak extender.. ??

Any BMW dealer will sell you a beak extender about £25 the screws are extra. If you havnt got an extra socket yet Ill sell you one for £10, genuine BMW still in bag.

Beaker Extender £22.39 from B*W.
Total with 6 bolts,washers, nuts & VAT = £30.87.

If the extra socket is unwanted then I'll have it.

I have to order a oil filter so will see if motorworks can get it... cheers for the tip on the screwes.. would have been not too fun to get the plastic and no screwes..
