I have a 2000 registered R850GS and I would like to fit some driving/adventure/riding lights. I'm a bit unsure of where to start with this little project, as electric string is not my strong point but I'd love to be able to do it myself if at all possible. Any advice from you guys out there would be much appreciated. Don't be afraid to talk to me like I'm 3........I'm sure none will be intended and none will be taken. Many thanks in advance. Mac.

check out the rugged roads light bar as a start, then maybe hella micro sd's or/and hella ff50's
les wassel on this site does hid conversions ,well worth getting in touch with!
plenty other products too but these work great on my 1150gs

Somewhere I have a very basic PDF showing how to do just this job; indeed I used it to wire spots on my 1150GSA with great success. Drop me a email via pm and I'll ping it across.

Hi jbox, I already have some. A mate of mine sold me a pair of Givi S310's. I'm looking for a bit of a heads up on how to incorporate them into the existing wiring loom.

You can buy a pre-made up loom with a switch and fuse if you're not sure what you're doing. Power's taken straight from the battery, just needs to be clipped in to a switched feed such as the sidelight bulb. Very easy.

I've emailed the PDF to all who requested it; check your spam filter.

All sorted. Many thanks to everyone who took the time to offer me some advice.
