Quit a mixture of machines to be seen, mainly Japanese and some not that exciting but then I find this little gem which was in beautiful condition.

Just after I arrived a guy rode up on a 1993 100GS PD which had had a bit of a custom paint job. Turns out he intended to sell it and asked one of th stewards on the gate for a good spot so people would see it. Turns out he didn't need it as the steward bought it there and then! :D

Bit rough round the edges but it sold for 2650 Euro as it sat including the panniers which where pretty substantial in their construction.

Speaking of panniers I found this strange set in the car park :augie

glad you enjoyed the day roger and it was nice to meet up wuth t900 and gsgirl again after donegal.
graham who bought the pd plans to sell his yamaha fjr and use the pd to commute to hi job with the AA in dublin.
the whole event went really well we had a turn out of over 70 classic bikes on show and over the day we had approx 200 bike turn up for a look and a large number of familys in cars.
in total we raised over 6000 euro for dsi and are very happy and proud with how the whole thing worked out.
thanks again to t900 gsgirl and thunder for the support and company:beerjug:

as thunder said if was sold at the show to one of the stewards (graham).
the guy who had it is a friend of grahams father and sold if to graham for what he paid for it one year ago e2650
someone did say the paint job looked a bit strange all right.
if you are interested i can pm you a number for graham i am sure he might sell it on for a small profit:augie
