I've heard it will only do 80 miles on a tank. Is this true?:nenau

It looks awesome, but 80 miles must be a mistake surely?:nenau

100 miles is about it....

one of the reasons I (and malcvtr) sold ours

What were the other reasons?:nenau The Diaval is on my dream bike list, so is there anything I should be aware of?:hide

it captured my heart and was the first bike in years that i wanted just on looks

it was very quick too

upsides - cool, quick, handled well enough, sounded great, cool screens

downsides - fixing luggage of any type was a pain, tank bags abscured the lower screen - windscreens helped the buffeting but ruined the looks - suspension too hard for my local roads - enjoyed smooth a roads, twitchy on anything else - tank too small

conclusion - great as a one up, sunny day bike if you have another do it all bike in the garage already

go get a test ride, but do some arm exercises first :thumb

Good to know.:thumb I'd keep the 12GS for touring, so it'd be a good 2nd bike for sunny days.:D
