what surprises me is that people who badmouth the BMW go all gaga because its a red ducati. all the manufacturers are trying to jump on the bandwaggon given the big trailie sales, nut i wouldnt touch a duck.

It's a machine, it'll break like any other machine and Multistrada's have their problems like any other bike.

Whether they have more or less problems per units sold is hard to work out but you can always believe what you read on forums can't you?

I have to say I do like the look of the Pikes peak MS. I'm pretty sure I would really like the MS if a rode one, which is why I'm staying away from a test ride. I can't afford to swap, plus I'd be too tempted to ride too fast

Thing is, it's not a tarted up Ltd edition, it's a replica paint job derived from bikes entered into the Pikes Peak race (much like WMB did in the States on some Ltd edition HP2's IIRC)

I think it looks lovely

Mind you, I'd rather take one of these up Pikes Peak
