This is going to be like stating the obvious to those that know, obviously, but I've only just sussed it
On my old 2610 you used to be able to press and hold the find button to mark your curent location by way of creating a waypoint, dead easy to do whilst riding if you wanted to make note of a good stretch of road or some other feature.
On the 2720 you have to touch the screen. Now, up until yesterday, I thought you had to touch the screen where the marker arrow was which required a fair bit of accuracy where you touched and not that easy with gloves on and certainly not whilst riding. What I hadn't realised was that by touching the screen anywhere created a waypoint for your current position.
So I now have back the one feature I really missed when I changed from the 2610 to the 2720.
Just as an aside issue - I have a spare 2720 with v9 mapping and a Touratech cradle which I am thinking of selling, what would be a fair price for this as a package, I was thinking around the £350:00 mark. Any thoughts.
