Thanks, I've sports and sports tourers before I was converted to GS's and yes I'd have been very lucky to get 6000 miles from a tyre, the GS has impressed me in all departments, no going back other than blasts on my LC
.
It thought the outstanding feature of EXP's was their wet weather performance so interesting you think the TR91s are even better. I've only done 4k miles on EXP's and have no complaints. Will change at about 5k and was heading towards Trail Attacks. TR91's do sound tempting though.I've been running TR91s for 3500 miles now and they're loads better than the EXPs the bike came on, especially in the wet, which is when it really counts.....
2k miles and the TR91 rear is down to less than 4mm tread left in the centre. How many mm does this tyre start with? Have 2.5k miles to do next week and not convinced it will last that long hence the question.
Glad I took your advice Rasher otherwise I'd have come home with -1mm of tread on my tyre at the end of next week and I guess that's not good.
