site has been down for over a week ...tried to call and was left on hold for 13 mins before giving up W T F !!

commited to their customers service awards blady bla bla...sh*ts dont even pick up the phone at 1.20 a minute

this no. is given on the website holding page 0333 222 4560 and is charged at the same rate as 01 or 02 numbers, not £1.20 a minute

it should be included in any landline or mobile calls package to standard tariff lines.

Deal with Rock apes for peanuts... And you get monkeys.

The details of who owns ebike, may well be somewhere in the blurb of your policy. Contact them.

If no joy, the Gibraltarian regulator, Gibraltar Financial Services Commission.... Or The Navejo, who is well up to speed on these matters.

Bingo... Contact....

Never mind, think of the £2 you saved by not using the rip off UK based companies.

Spoke to them several times prior to leaving them, they are loosing tons of business but say the website had severe "issues" which will take sometime to resolve. I was with them for 9 years and no issues and was pissed I had to leave due to them pumping up my premium, still I was always aware I may not have had the best service if I had to test them :augie

Surely that's the reason why you buy insurance ?? Not just for a scrap of paper so you merely comply with the traffic laws.

I always had good service from them. There site went down 2 weeks before my renewal. I had to go elsewhere..
Did get a letter from them warning me that my insurance had expired.
They must be losing stacks of money.

This "good service" you received.
Hopefully it was more than the process of you paying them money, and them sending you an email with your vehicle details that then enabled you to lawfully ride your bike ??.... if that was it that's not good service, that's simply a requirement.. :D

sods

well i have not been able to insure my new bike for a month now...putting it into moth balls till renewal in april going to some other mob...not going to give the gits money for admin ect...shouldn't have got into bed with them in the first place

Don't forget to declare it SORN, or you'll have to insure it

Don't keep it on the road, or you'll have to tax it (see above)

Don't let it get nicked, burnt or damaged... As it won't be insured

As Wapping says

What happens if it gets nicked?

I insured with ebike expecting really crap service if I ever needed to make a claim but after a SMIDSY and a £4000 repair bill for my 990 Adventure I have been pleasantly surprised as they have been OK and sorted the claim no problem.

I need to tranfer insurance between bikes in a day or two, hopefully the website is sorted now.

The site went down because it was hacked, hence the long delay bringing it back up.

Its not a problem though, simply call the 03 number, speak to someone and they will make the change for you, they did it for me a week ago.

I stay with Ebike because I have saved vast sums of money with them because I own multiple bikes and I can change the policy without those rip off admin fees. I took a bike off last month and they sent me a cheque for £16, who else gives you money back when you change your policy

Yes its a real pain the site is down

Sorry for being dim, but what's stopping you going elsewhere ?

cos i have 6 months left .....and besides i couldnt contact them if i wanted ...the phone thing is just down to luck
