going tomorrow, guy sent me a video and a load of pics and you know how it is i have bought it already! (in my head) :blast

I bought a 1200 Sportster new in 1989. I loved it and rode 16,000 in the first year. All the paint fell off the frame. The four speed 1200 had a big problem with teeth falling off the gearbox gears. There was also a problem with the alternators being part of the clutch. The magnets were glued into the back of the clutch basket and used to come unglued and chew up the the stator and everything in reach. Mine went a few weeks out of warranty and harley refused to cover it. Apart from that it was brillant.
