My GSA is still under warranty and currently sitting on 6800 miles with a service due in 3500.
I’m leaving on a trip to Norway in a few weeks which will be in the region of 3800 miles, putting me beyond the mileage for my next service.
The next one due is a 12k which is a fairly big one with the recommendation of a carden shaft inspection and lube.
I’ve got it booked in for all that but I’m thinking about telling them to leave the shaft as 1, it’s nowhere near the 12 k recommended interval for that, 2 I’d rather them not feck around with that just before my trip and 3 obviously it’s adding to the cost of the service ( all in £582) .
Any thoughts on what you guys would do?
