Has anyone fitted one of those chain and pulley devices to make their clutch pull less heavy? My R100/7 has a smooth operating clutch but it sure could do with being lighter. At the price ‘works are asking I’d like some feedback before I order one.

I’m sure I could make one but do they work? Thanks for the links. There’s a similar set up for old Lambrettas too. At a fraction of the price.
My basic knowledge of mechanics suggests they SHOULD work! Give it a try. Its not as if it's going to cost much!

I've fitted and used one. They reduce the clutch pull effort by 50% (simple mechanics). The clutch needs careful adjustment to ensure clearance, but otherwise positive all round.
I made up a soft clutch for my R75/5 as here.
It works well.

I needed forearms like Popeye when riding my 1970's Ducati twin - especially the clutch side. But that bike's been off the road for a decade so I'm out of condition. And I'm starting to get shoulder issues so that even a BMW clutch can - literally -be a pain

i bow to your greater knowledge but fitted today and works extremely well. Clutch pull very easy now and no signs of the clutch not operating as it should.

As a rider who suffers with arthritis in my wrists, this seems like a great modification which I hope can be completed on a 2018 GS. I do not have a Meccano set in the loft and will need to purchase the items required.
Is this currently the only option to help with reducing the heaviness of the clutch? I have tried adjusting the clutch settings but I'm still battling on a daily basis with the pains in my wrist and it does not help as I use the bike to commute twice a week.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I never thought of my r100 as having a heavy/hard clutch.
I have ridden a ST that had one of the easy clutches fitted…… it hardly needed any input to pull the clutch lever.
thankfully I don’t have any problem with my airhead clutch pull, but would fit an easy clutch if I had hand/wrist problems from my one short ride on the bike with one fitted.
the mechanism means that the clutch feel is different due to the multiplication of the input to output ( well, I know what I mean!)…..

I had one of these on my R90 , didn't like or need it so took it off .

I'm the opposite.
I made and fitted one years ago and wouldn't be without it, especially when caught in traffic.
As a comparison I checked the lbs required to pull the clutch on some of my bikes today using my salter spring balance;-
2010 R1200gs twin cam 18lbs, hydraulic clutch. 97 R1100rs 18lbs, cable. 07 g650 xcountry 15.5lbs, cable. 75 R90s 14.5 lbs, cable with easy clutch.
I recall checking the 90s when I changed the cable and clutch assembly some years ago and it was 23lbs and then 11lbs with the easy clutch.
As you can see it makes the clutch pull effort much more like the modern bikes.
The cable is a few years old/done a few miles now which may explain the higher pull required now? Yes the clearance and set up needs a bit more care and uses more lever travel.
I have a kickstart on my 90S and kicking it over the clutch is free with a 12mm gap between lever and bar. It has never slipped in use.
All the bikes have a different feel/biting point, I swap from bike to bike and after the first few changes it never bothers me.
My set up is a straight pull on the cable with the chain going round the pulley and anchoring to a bracket on the back of the gearbox. I can't upload the photos, file too big?
I did my first one just with the cable doubling back round the pully but found there was a lot more lever movement as the cable has to "straighten out" before it pulls the clutch.
