I've just fitted EBC HH pads front and rear on my 1150 and the front ones rattle like buggery - I thought the bike was about to fall apart until I traced the source of the noise.
This was last discussed here about a year ago - has anyone found a solution to the problem since then? OE pads have little springs attached to them to prevent this but they're not transferrable to the new pads. Seems that some sort of spring-steel arrangement as part of an anti-squeal backing plate (as used on lot of other bikes and cars) would do the trick but can I get some anywhere?
I don't want to change pads again partly because the HH's are so much better than standard but also because I just bought them and they were expensive! I suspect someone will tell me just to live with it
Is that the only solution? Yes, I know that Ferodo do a possible alternative, but I want a solution for the HH pads.
