ECU Location.

I am new to 1150 ownership and just ordered one of John's tuning chips.
Where is the ECU located ?

Under the tank, ahead of the battery (and ahead of the ABS unit, if you have one)...

Be very careful undoing the nuts on the fuel pump plate - use loads of penetrating oil (not WD40) and clean the treads with a wire brush before even attempting undoing them. If you shear one off you may be lucky and get it to seal, but two in line will mean a new tank or finding someone daft enough to weld/braze new studs on...

The ECU box is silicon sealed and is a bugger to prise apart so be careful and take your time.
