As some of you may already know, I will be part of the Scooters in the Sahara team riding 4,000 miles through North West Afica in October this year, on a Honda C90!
The journey will take us through Spain, Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania and Senegal before arriving in The Gambia. On arrival the little bike will be donated to Bansang Hospital for the use of medical staff to treat patients in the outlying villages, some of them more than a days walk away.
To help raise funds for the hospital appeal (I will be funding the trip out of my own pocket), Paula and I have booked Ed March to give a presentation as detailed below.
Ed will be also talking at the Hograost this year but I know this clashes with Devon's Classic Bike weekend. There may be some folk going to that who will miss his talk.
I do have a large field which can be made available for camping if anyone would like to make a weekend of it. Shower and toilet facilities will be provided and you never know I may cook up a curry one night! The venue is about a fifteen minute walk from our house and there is a pub serving food next to that.
We hope you will find time to join us for an entertaining evening which will give an insight into riding a Honda C90 a significant distance!

He has many tales to tell and pictures to share.
