......on the way to work. As I don't have my handbook with me, I thought I'd check to see what you all thought:
Cruising down the M1, the red battery light started glowing and eventually came up to a fairly bright illumination. After about 20 mins, riding through town I noticed it had gone out again, and stayed off until journeys end. Now on my Land Rover, if this light came on, it usually meant the alternator was not working and the car was running off the battery (and stopped once the battery was flat), so I switched the headlight off when I saw the light glowing. Would this have had enough of an effect for the warning light to go back out after a while?
What does it mean on the GS? What needs checking?
