I started fitting wiring to take an accessory today and tw*t that I am broke the cardinal rule of not disconnecting the battery first-arse!!!
I shorted out across the terminals and have an 'odd' problem:
I didn't blow any fuses- that I can see any way- and the engine still turns over and starts and all appears in order. However, where I could once test and get a circuit from the point (see picture) I now don't; it's as if the feed to my terminal is dead.
Hopefully I've got a picture uploaded. I'm trying to feed off the front terminal (the brown cable) and shorted across this to the one behind.
As I said, everything seems fine but I'm worried about running it in case I've cooked something somewhere.
Oh, it's a 2006 990 Adventure by the way and the image is of the 'terminal' at the side/bottom of the battery..

Help please!!

Sorry I don't know anything about KTM's but have you got an alarm and immobiliser fitted - if so you will probably need to reset it after any electrical fettling to get anywhere . If you haven't got one then all I can do it wish you luck ..... or sell you a GS ;)

Tried disconnecting the +ve and -ve termianls for a minute or two and then reconnecting them back up? Just in case you've confused the logic in any of the circuits.

Thanks

Thanks all for looking and the advice. Dunno what I did but I've taken it out for a long spin and everything seems fine!
Promise not to do it again!!!
