Elephant 2009

Got back last night and here are some photos of the conditions on the campsite site.

howmuchforaservice prepares for the hill climb, the wonders of my heated Tentipi head and shoulders above the other tents, one of the bikes in the morning and the temperature kept dropping. Was about -10 on Saturday night.

Getting the bikes out on Sunday was interesting too.

Didn't see any other UK GS's - were you hiding?

Others from this Isle!

Two of us managed to ride through the sleet and snow from the highlands.
We never found anyone else though, we were near the entrance on the right hand side, a black 1200 and Ktm 640!
Damn we thought we were the only ones!
 
Just do it !!! It's one of those things that you must do in a life time
