When we moved to Skye from Glasgow 18 years ago, it was either Skye or Vancouver.
As usual the wife won.

If we could work out the logistics, SWMBO and I would move to Northern California tomorrow.

There are five couple's recently moved to Skye from Jo Burg.
Some of the stories they tell of their experiences are unbelieveably violent?
One guy who is a doctor in Broadford hospital told me that he did not know a single family where he lived, who had not been touched by either murder,rape or kidnapping.

I'm from Cape Town, different place really, (still has its moments but better than Jo Burg)

Jo'Burg is in Gauteng and they all have GP on the number plates now which apparently stands for Gangsta's Paradise.....

Clarkson has written about this in his column in the Sunday Times.

He says all the white people there tell you horrendous stories about how you can just buy an AK47 for £7, but when he asks them to get one they don't know where He also says that last time he was there the biggest news story was the theft of a computer from a school

I have no idea which version is true but I'd take a guess that somewhere in the middle is more likely. That would make the place about as dangerous as the bad parts of most major cities?
