End can advice

I recently had a Remus decat pipe fitted and removed the flappy valve thing on my 2013 Adventure. The bike runs great but I have one small problem. I had a Leo Vince race can fitted at the time, but it's driving me mad as it's too loud. I can refit the original can, but would an proper BMW Akro can be better ?or are they really loud ?

Been there, done that.
Yes, a loud pipe is hard to stick.
The Akro pipe is slightly louder than stock, if that's what you're after. Performance will be the same as the stock can.
Refit the stock can, sell the Leo Vince to some deaf tosser on the 'for sale' page and put your money towards a remap or AF-XiED units. Sorted!

Hi Timbo, got an Akra on my 2010 GSA and run it without the baffles, nice sound off it and definitely not too loud.

Cheapest option is to fit a baffle.

I have the Akra stacked "shotgun" exhaust it's loud when wound up but at those speeds i'm wearing ear plugs so its no issue. Around town it's fine. I like it's more rippy tone.

The Remus Hexacone is less noisy without baffles, but only a Remus baffle will fit.

The OEM chrome case silencer was anything but quiet when the decat headers were fitted.

Think I'll bung the original back on for now, maybe treat myself to an Akra off eBay when I can find a cheap one. Thanks for the advice.

You could do worse than consider an Arrow can, I'm very pleased with mine. Quieter than stock can too.

I "might" have a Titanium Remus for sale in the very near future. Bike might be going and I'd probably put the standard can back on it.
