Enduroland this weekend 28th 29th June 2008

It’s in nice countryside, so it would make a good location for a rough camping event with some circuits planned out for those wanting to improve skills.

For me the main advantage of going round and round was learning about the bike and pushing that bit harder each time.

There where some good berms building on one section that zig zag across a ploughed field and by the end of the day I was using them to reasonable effect – IMHO ;-)

I’d suggest the next step is more GS’ers at the next event and go from there.

Great write up...

Your tails of that hill remind me how good a climber my airhead is... I may have been crapping it due to the front lifting but the bike found all the traction it needed, confirming my airheads big bang traction theory

Super Enduro did a flip at the top of that climb... confirming my 'the blokes a screw lose' theory ;-)

Yes, another good day at Enduroland. Took a few tumbles (Twice in the same wet grassy bend !). Took most of the morning to "Learn" the course, by which time I was getting tired and making mistakes. A healthy lunch (2 burgers) saw me right though and post dinner was much better. Got "dialled in" a bit and got quicker, and smoother PM.
(the further the week goes on, the faster I was !!!)
Looking forward to Ryedale at the weekend now.
See you up there !
