I have a new 1300 gs and find the engine braking spoiling my ride, is there any way to adjust this ? I am riding in road mode and previously had a 1250 without these problems.

Put in dynamic mode
Way better

I agree, initially I used road mode as I have found the throttle snatchy using dynamic in the past on my prev GS, but its really improved the bike for me on the 1300, its all I use now.

Definitely (y)

Dynamic mode is much better on the 1300 (strangely I always ran my 1200 in road mode) the braking is also far more natural in dynamic mode, road mode interferes too much with the combined braking for my taste

Presume it's too much engine braking??.
As others suggest try the other modes, rain mode may have less engine braking??.

Think it may be a case of just getting used to it.

You can configure some settings in Dynamic pro mode, eg have dynamic suspension setting but set it to "rain" throttle response etc.
