engine corrosion again!

I know there has been a lot of talk on here about engine corrosion and I have allready had the front cover changed under warranty but my 2 years are nearly up and 42K done the finish on the rest of the engine is starting to blister, and the frame in a couple of places too.
Has anyone had a similar problem and any good response from the dealers?
I cannot find the original paper work so unsure what the warranty covers?

Still waiting to hear what it was you said to Cannon (or whoever), when confronted by the very sizeable first service bill. A bill that you thought was free, as I recall....and, of course, the dealer's reply.

Betting now says you simply paid up, all meekly, and then ranted here.

Go and ask your dealer, surley?

If the bike is still within warranty, there is a better than even chance the work will be done. It costs nothing to ask, for yourself, after all.

If BuMW refuse, then work out whther their grounds are reasonable. If they are, accept it. If they are not, then work out what to do next.

Final drive and gearbox cover were replaced by the dealer under the warranty ,due to corrosion . From the time I made a claim until the parts were fitted 3 weeks ( actually a decision was made in 3 days , but had to wait for parts ) .
BMW UK make the decision to replace parts not the dealer .
They get out from any corrosion issue, is owner neglect ( go to page 136 in the owner manual ),but they will look at each case individually .
Go to your dealer ASAP and report your problems .

Thanks guys will be refering it back to the dealer but just wondered if anyone had a favourable response on general engine corrosion from their dealer
