Hello, can anyone enlighten me on what they use to give the casings a good fettle? After regular washing through winter they seem to have lost there glossy look and are getting a little tarnished to the finish. Anyone know of a product or method to bring them back to former glory?

Cheers in advance

Just washing with fenwicks diluted and a snow foam degreaser. All of which work very nicely removing the grime. The wd40 sprayed on and left over night then buffed off has worked a treat the casings have come up like new

I know this is going to sound weird, but smooth peanut butter polished on and off with a soft cloth

Do you use Jam with that ? :barf

My brother outlaw washes his bike with WD 40, well a cats lick. (bit like a mum spitting on a hankie, don't suppose they do that now days) :nenau

personally with mine after a wash using elbow grease, its usually some muc off protectant or ACF 50 depending on the time of year :thumb2:D
