Engine loss of power

No dont know the difference between hexhead and LC so maybe the post needs to be moved...... any how been biking for 20 plus years....I did not apply the brakes before this happened. Guys behind did not see any brake lights come on. Driven bike numerous times since and no further issues. So assuming it was a fuel problem, bike is due for a 12 k service in a few weeks so be interesting if anything is picked up then.

You're not making sense...

How can you assume it was a fuel problem yet say when you pulled the clutch in it was as though the brakes were applied?

If you had the clutch in then the engine had nothing to do with your slowing down.
