Engine noise

Had a demo ride yesterday on new lc12 gs. I was really surprised to hear the amount of engine noise from it. Surely this can't be normal?
And a very rough idle. U could see the rev counter jumping up and down quite a bit.

It's certainly not a VFR. On the other hand it's smoother and tighter sounding than a dry clutch Multistrada.

Assuming you didn't have a faulty one, its just part of the character of the engine.

However the bike definitely needs an Akrapovic (or similar) can to give more satisfying depth to the engine note.

Wanted too totally love. Maybe if had more time on it , it could grow on me. Still like my 800 though.
