engine stutter?

So why are there three pins on the power supply to the coilpack?

Borrowed a brand new coilpack off of a mate. Now have 2 new coilpacks fitted, if I pull the secondary plugs Ht lead off,r/h cylinder it cuts out. Left hand runs fine with its secondary plu lead disconnected


Bike runs well apart from this. WTF!
