I've noticed that within a minute of stopping my engine temp is climbing above 100deg and the fan is kicking in.

Not overly concerned by this but think it could prove more of an issue in the summer months especially when touring in warmer climates.

Just wondering if anyone else have had similar experiences with their XR?

Regards & season greetings to all,

Retained engine heat probably causing convection in the cooling system. The hot water rises into the radiators and triggers the fan switch. Designed that way and so probably not an issue.

Thanks Packer. Hopefully nothing too much worry about then.
