That looks like a different bike pic dash to what you posted on Sunday night Santa. My bike oil is up to temp and 'Oil level check' is available after about 4 miles or so or about a mile after the 4th temp bar appears. Your bike oil temp scale scale is totally different so cant really compare any it to mine. Is your bike a pre 2010?

Month of manufacure is whats important, the mothership generally do two updates a year so you get a TE & TU variant

My 2008 GSA "Model Upgrade" Hexhead had the oil level float in the sump, RH side. It started playing up and would only ever show - - - instead of OIL OK at my usual morning stop at the gates at work. This is how I knew something was up, because it showed OIL OK for years whenever I got to work with a hot engine (in neutral etc etc).

I removed and tested the oil level float with a multimeter and it seemed to function okay, yet the fault persisted.

Replacing the oil float sensor cured the issue regardless.
