Jaysus, it's a long way to go for a 20km blast up the side of a mountain

Daithi, I know there's 2 x Prologues & 4 x enduro-x qualifying but given that there's 1500 entrants I doubt that everyone gets to do all the qualifying runs. Especially as the Superfinal is only the 33 fastest qualifiers. No idea how many go in the Iron Road but the Hare Scramble has ten sets of fifty riders starting

No, nothing since 13.30 when he said he hadn't seen Famous (not surprising really with that many competitors) but that he'd send times later

Seamus is Riding a KTM 950se and it will not be used in the extreme event that kicks of on Sunday

Having watched the Scramble on vid a few times I reckon you'd have to be stone mad to even attempt it. Andrew should do quite well in it though ....

Currently 10th in the enduro-x so should be in the final 2morrow nite !
It's a quick lap over man-made stuff in the main arena & is very 'trialsy'.
2nd Prologue 2morow which is just silly scary fast !
No times up yet from 2day.
You've gotta come here next year !

73rd. 2nd row!

Followed by (in answer to my question about how he did in the enduro-x) :

Qualified 13th, didn't ride final cos had a sneaky ride out on the course and didn't wanna get wrecked 4 2morow !

Ain't seen anything in the TV programmes about it being shown tomorrow but if anyone sees it a 'heads-up' would be appreciated

Winner did the run in 9min09sec
Andrew had consistent 10:11, 10:9, 10:9 starting pos 77
Seamus 13:03, 12:46, 12:46 Starting pos 1029

Well done lads!

He says it's the hardest thing he's ever done on a motorbike

He's still really pumped & I don't think it's sunk in yet but he'll have the next couple of days to think about it while he drives back
