Preload? If so Yes, a couple of years ago. Dealers were a waste of time and money.
You can try a recalibration of the shocks if you have the gs911 still.
If that doesn’t work try checking if the motor does still actually works by applying 12v directly to it. You will need to move the tank back an inch or two to expose the connectors for the esa just behind the steering head. One is for preload, the other for damping. I can’t recall which is which but you should be able to follow the wires. Preload is at the top of the shock. Iirc the middle pin on the plug from the preload motor is earth, of the other two applying 12v +ve will turn the motor one way or the other. That’ll prove weather the motor turns or not. Recalibrate it again afterwards. If the motor doesn't turn with 12v direct while it could be wiring it’s more likely to be the motor itself. If so it can be refurbished - Tractive in the Netherlands make them and offered to refurbish mine.
You can check wiring by removing the tank and disconnecting the central cpu. Perusal of the wiring diagram in the workshop manual will let you workout which pin supplies the front esa motors so check continuity for the relevant pin to the connector.
Finally try and get hold of another complete shock from somewhere (dealer? Through here?), and hook it into your loom and run it through the GS 911 cycle and from the handlebars. If all ok.,..
...In the end I got hold of a complete secondhand shock. Once I was happy that the esa motor worked with my bike I had the motor swapped out with my knackered one ( I had a Wilbers shock so only wanted the motor off the shock I had bought otherwise if the whole unit is good just swap it out).
My thread on my woes is here.
