Hi all just out of interest when you adjust the esa whilst the gs is on its main stand do you see much movement in the springs. I was just wondeeing as I have played about with the esa and not once have I noticed any movement. :blast

It moves a small amount when changing settings but to see it really move you should put it into full off road mode, this raises the whole bike by about 3 cms. Best to do this on the centre stand if your a short arsed git like me: beerjug:

On my GSA I only see it move when changing from road to off-road. My bike doesn't move on its side stand going from solo to 2 up etc, although if you're sat on it you can feel it move going from solo to 2 up etc. as you're body weight doesn't compress the spring as much :thumb2

When you say put it onto main stand for full off road mode. I have done that but I haven't seen it move. Going to try it with the side stand just in case there is a problem with it althogh it is only a month old so would not expect it to fail, but you never know. Thanks everyone even the piss takers HeHe! :blast

You won't see it do anything on the main stand as the rear suspension drops/lengthens. It's only when you have weight on the shocks ie on side stand, or sat on it that you'll notice the shock move :thumb2 Don't know why you got the advice about being on the centre stand, especially when referring to being a short arse as the bike's harder to get on due to the height on the centre stand :nenau

I can certainly feel it change height when just going between 1up and 2up settings.
Normally happens when I forget to go back to 1up after a trip.

I went into Benham at Wolverhampton toddy and they showed me the ESA working on one of their Gs's and I have to admit that mine has not changed anywhere near as much as that one so me thinks there's a problem with mine so going to have to book it in. :censor:
