I'm a short arse with a low Sargent seat. Agree with bendy, lowered never looks right.
Learn to plan your stops. Look for cambers and anything that could cause a problem when stopping. Unless you work in a circus, you can usually get one foot down. It quickly becomes second nature.
Apologies if you do work in a circus, but you've probably bought the wrong bike.
I too am a short arse and I found it hard to reach the road and indeed I still do. However I use a low Sargent seat and have the ESA set to soft so that when you sit on the bike it drops a little and you have more control whilst stationary. I also had problems reaching the side stand to get it it up when moving off. I welded a nut onto it and screwed in a bolt encased in rubber so I could reach it with my toe. Makes life a lot easier.
