ESSEX OFF ROAD QUERY
I would like to have a go at this as a novice chaps. Went on the website and looks great. pretty reluctant to take the Adventure out on it just yet as I have only had the thing 3 weeks! Can I borrow / rent a bike down there? I am South London based . Regards, Emmet

I have just checked my diary.
I'm cycling with the scouts this Sunday and Canoeing down the Wye the week after.
But don't let me stop you.
Looks like the first Sunday I can do is now the 17th October !
So I am definitely up for either this or green laning on that date.

Well there's got to be a first time, so I'll be joining you on the 17th. I'm in Colchester and ride an Adventure, it's a big mutha but if you don't mind helping me to pick it up!

What a 'wimp out'.
No sooner do I commit to getting my bike dirty for the first time, than I get summoned to chauffeur my good lady to the airport on the very same day. So I'm wimping out.
That'll teach me not to confer with the boss first.
Secondly, in the local events I've posted a thread on an Essex subsection comprising of stuff from South East and East Anglia, plus anything we can come up with. It's mainly in response to the idea that Essex may want to have a central meeting place of its own, suitable for the monthly evening style meet up. Any suggestions as to a venue?
