Hi Guys, Any recommendations for a couple of weeks European Breakdown cover?

AA or RAC
Your bank if you get travel insurance often come with EU breakdown.
OR when you re insure your car its an added option.
I found the AA expensive even though i was a UK gold member.
I ended up paying Barclays £114 for the year for worldwide travel insurance and UK and EU breakdown for me and the wife.
If your with Barclays you can find and add it through the banking APP

The Nationwide FlexPlus account is £18 a month and you get EU breakdown, worldwide travel insurance and phone insurance included.

If it’s a 1300 then it’s fairly new so you have the BMW European Assistance
You own a 1300gs/gsa then you’re covered by BMW
I collect my 1300gsa two days after I come back from my Europe trip I have a 4 year old gsa at the moment hence the brake-down cover question
Just paid £55.04 for my Green Flag policy with multiple trips to Europe, including Nationwide UK cover.
Policy does exclude Home start and Misfuelling.
£40 excess to pay per call out.
6 year old bike.
Covers me as a driver/passenger of any vehicle I am traveling in excluding commercial vehicles (so thats my work van out the equation)
Policy available through Moneysupermarket.com triple the amount on Green Flag website for same cover.

Change your BMW for a Honda and you should be ok without it.

did moneysupermarket as normal and thru green fleg again 59 quid
thats for 12 months multiple trips
And there is no age limit on your bike.

Except in my exp. Honda motorcycles have broken down more on trips I have been on than other brands. Normally electrics, reg rectifiers.
Then Ducati, then KTM and Kawasaki..
Only BMW break down was an S1r major engine failure. That was going nowhere…
As the post at the bottom says,pay a little extra(mines cheap as chips now)And have had no issue with the RAC when called into action.They were fantastic.Cover my Lambretta 1964 to my GSA1250 2024 and everything In-between. Really can't fault them.Think my multi trip annual policy for the two of us,any motor is around the £140.
