Good afternoon, Have spent sometime working on the exhaust butterfly valve to free it up. All went well until I did the functional check at the end. With ignition on the valve servo motor did not move (did not close/open during the ECU BIT ((built in test)). Removed the servo motor to try and bench check it. The Haynes wiring diagrams only give the wire numbers and colours, but not what they do. Checking the bike plug, I found battery voltage on pin 3, 4 volts on pins 1 & 2 and nothing on pin 4.
I suspect they will be diodes in the circuit. Does anyone out there have a decent wiring diagram for the servo motor or does anyone have a tried and tested method to bench check the motor to prove its serviceability.
Thanks
